During the Holiday Season I love lounging around and spending time with my family at home wearing some cozy PJs. Yes, the Holiday Season brings us many joys, laughter, and fun memories with loved ones. Because this is a time of year when we are all going nonstop. For me,being able to put on some comfy cozy PJs, grab a cup of my favorite hot tea, and seat on the couch to enjoy a movie with my family during the Holidays, it’s simply a Blessing. I Love It.

On Monday, Nov. 25, celebrities, corporate partners and consumers joined together online in support of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. #ThanksandGiving Day is a single-day social media effort designed to rally the online community around St. Jude’s lifesaving mission of finding cures and saving children with cancer and other deadly diseases. The day also helps launch the St. Jude Thanks and Giving holiday campaign.
To mark the day, St. Jude will launch an online Spanish-language video series from model and entrepreneur Daisy Fuentes, Latin GRAMMY award nominee Leslie Grace and television personality Raul Gonzalez that will appear nationwide on YouTube, Facebook, Twitter and other social networking sites. They join other Latin stars, including Luis Fonsi, Mana, Prince Royce, Chino y Nacho, Leslie Grace, Luis Enrique, Toby Love, Carlos Vives, Pamela Silva Conde, Candela Ferro, Natalia Jimenez, Banda El Recodo and Maite Perroni who dedicated their social media efforts to support St. Jude for the day.
The Day’s chatter was tracked on a real-time “Buzz Meter” to measure the activity of friends using #ThanksandGiving.
In addition to the celebrity support, St. Jude Thanks and Giving corporate partners DICK’S Sporting Goods, Kay Jewelers®, Domino’s, GNC, AutoZone, Brooks Brothers, Carnival Cruise Lines, GameStop, Christopher & Banks and many more will dedicate their company’s Facebook, Twitter and other social media pages to the hospital to raise awareness among their customers. INSPIRATION: Roselyn’s makeup inspiration came from her dress by designer Rani Zakhem.
STEP 1: To start off, Roselyn’s makeup artist used L’Oréal Paris True Match Lumi Healthy Luminous Foundation ($12.95) as a base foundation
STEP 2: For the smoky eyes, he applied L’Oréal Paris Colour Riche Eye Shadow Quad in Cookies & Cream($7.95) blending in all colors over the entire lid
STEP 3: To create the bold effect on Roselyn’s eyes, the artist used L’Oréal Paris The Blackbuster by Infallible ($8.95) creating a bold, thick line on her upper lash line – to draw the most attention
STEP 4: He used L’Oréal Paris Voluminous Butterfly Mascara ($8.99) to complete the eyes
STEP 5: To finish off the look, he gave Roselyn a nude lip using L’Oréal Paris Infallible Le Gloss in Barely Nude($9.99)
MAKEUP ARTIST: Kim Bragalone
INSPIRATION: For Mala’s makeup, Kim was inspired to create a smoky eye, paired with subtle soft lips to contrast the red dress Mala is wearing. She wanted to give a romantic feel and make it seem as she had just been kissed.
STEP 1: Kim prepped Mala’s skin by moisturizing with L’Oréal Paris Youth Code Texture Perfector Day/Night Cream($24.99) prior to foundation
STEP 2: Next, she mixed two different foundation shades, using L’Oréal Paris True Match Super-Blendable Makeup in Natural Buff & Light Ivory ($10.95 ea.) to highlight and contour
STEP 3: She then used L’Oréal Paris Visible Lift Color Lift Blush ($12.95) using her fingers on the apples of her cheeks, which created a flawless rosy finish
STEP 4: For the eyes, Kim started with the L’Oréal Paris Colour Riche Eye Shadow Quad in Because I’m Worth It ($7.95) and used the gold shadow on her crease, spreading it all over her lid. She then applied L’Oréal Paris Colour Riche Eye Shadow Quad in So Over It! ($7.95), using the purple eye shadow and blending it in her upper lash line. To give the full smoky effect, she eye lined Mala’s upper lash line using L’Oréal Paris The Blackbuster by Infallible ($8.95) giving it a winged cat eye
STEP 5: To create dramatic lashes, Kim used the L’Oréal Paris Voluminous Butterfly Mascara ($8.99) extending them outward from corner to corner
STEP 6: Kim created Mala’s nude pout by using L’Oréal Paris Infallible Le Rouge in Lingering Mocha ($9.95)
HAIRSTYLIST: Rene Lam
INSPIRATION: Mala was inspired to keep it very retro this year and wanted to recreate more of a “vintage hair” feel. Hairstylist Rene helped achieve this by keeping the hairdo soft and inspire a romantic, innocence look.
STEP 1: To start, Rene sprayed L’Oréal Paris Advanced Haircare Triple Resist Ultimate Strength Solution($6.99) throughout Mala’s damp hair for protection
STEP 2: She then worked a small amount of L’Oréal Paris EverCurl Sculpt & Hold Cream-Gel while the hair was still wet
STEP 3: Rene blowdried, leaving hair slightly damp to easily section the hair by pin-curling, using one-inch sections. She sprayed each section with L’Oréal Paris Elnett SatinHairsprayIn Extra Strong Hold ($14.99) before pinning and finished off the blowdry on medium heat until fully dried
STEP 4: Once Mala’s hair was cool, Rene removed the bobby pins and ran her hands gently though the curls to soften, and texturized with L’Oréal Paris EverStrong Thickening Tonic ($6.99)
STEP 5: Rene left the bangs to flow naturally, running a small amount of the thickening tonic just to even out the texture
STEP 6: Last but not least, to tame the fly-aways, Rene used L’Oréal Paris Advanced Haircare Smooth Intense Frizz Taming Serum ($6.99) and locked the look with her favorite L’Oréal Paris Elnett SatinHairsprayin Extra Strong Hold ($14.99)

BraveChica:How would you describe this huge change in your life ?
Lillie :“Like a rollercoaster, I am still trying to convince them to let me do a Contempo Song the way I am used to . I am very used to doing my own makeup and styling. And now, I have other people making those decisions for me. Sometimes I tend to be little hesitant about the looks that they choose for me, but when I look back at videos on Youtube I realize that they did a Great Job” .
BraveChica: What is your schedule like ?
Lillie : “We do three to four shows a night, about ten songs per night” .
BraveChica:How has Kelly Rowland helped you on this journey?
Lillie:“She has been Great . She is very clever and funny. She is teaching me how to sort of polish and refine my performances to show a more youthful side of my music. She even came on stage and gave me some tips on my performance of Ain’t Nobody”.
BraveChica: Which have been your favorite performance(s) so far ?
Lillie McCloud: ”My favorite performance has been my first one when I did CeCe Winans “Alabaster Box” And, My second favorite has been“Who wants to live forever”
BraveChica: During your first performance you brought Demi Lovatto and Kelly Rowland to tears . How does that make you feel?
Lillie : “It means a lot to me that they can feel me through the song because I am 100% genuine”.
BraveChica: What is something that people don’t know about you and that you will like for them to know?
Lillie: “They don’t know that I am a Powerhouse Performer and How Hard I Can Rock on Stage. They don’t know that I love horses and enjoy very much riding for relaxation“
BraveChica: Lillie I have to tell you that like the judges and the rest of America I was also shocked when I heard you say your age “54″ . You Look Amazing !!!
Lillie: “Thank you, Thank you. I think the reason why I look the way I do at my age is simply because I do not feel like I am 54″
BraveChica: Mario Lopez told you on the show that you are the hottest grandma he has ever seen . How does such compliment make you feel ?
Lillie : ” That makes me feel very Flattered. It makes me remember my 20′s “
BraveChica: This has been your dream since you were a little girl . How does it feel to be so close to it as one of the remaining ten finalists on the show?
Lillie:”I feel like I am on Top of the World. I feel blessed to have gotten this far and to be one of the Top 10 XFactor Finalists. I know that I am Walking With the Lord And, Wherever He Puts Me That’s Where I’ll Be” .
BraveChica: How would you describe your journey on the XFactor?
Lillie : “Overwhelming at times but totally worth it . My stamina has been tested. My passion and love for my dream have also been put the test. Lots of work and not that much sleep .But like all great fighters I say Bring It On ” . I Feel Brused, But Never Broken ” .
BraveChica: Llilie Thank you so much for taking the time to speak with me . I have to tell you that you are an inspiration to women and mothers everywhere because not only did you not loose your dream, but you are living proof that Dreams can come true with hard work and perseverance.
